US Fulbright Scholar, Martin Catino, Visits the Eastern Province
On March 11, Dr. Martin Scott Catino, a US Fulbright Scholar in American History at the American Studies Center at the University of Bahrain, visited Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province to engage audiences on a range of subjects from US history.
Dr. Catino spoke with students and faculty at Prince Mohamed University and King Faisal University on a variety of subjects including the assimilation of ethnic minorities in America, and the economic and financial crisis in the US. He also engaged media audiences about the new Obama Administration and US foreign policy in the Middle East.
